Sulphur black SDR is Lustrous Grains, Imparts full black shade with a slight reddish or greenish tone which having good light fastness and low price. We are available in powder, granules and liquid form, having high degree of properties than other cotton dyes available in market. Good color fastness properties such as light fastness, wash fastness and cost effectiveness makes Sulphur black an important class of dye. Cas.No. 1326-82-5 Strength (with the standard) 100% Shade Approximate to the Standard pH Value 12.0-13.5 Viscosity(mpa. S) 1.30-1.50 Application: Mainly used for dyeing on cotton, also used for dyeing on cambric, viscose and vinylon. In Denim, It shows controlled diffusion of dyestuff on slasher//rope dyeing machines for SBIT (Sulphur Bottom Indigo Topping) and IBST (Indigo Bottom Sulphur Topping) applications. It is recommended for bottoming//topping application on denim yarn The powder dye is first made into paste with a little water (containing the requisite amount of Sulphide and soda ash) and then boiled for about ten minutes with further addition of water, to make solution. This solution is then made upto the requisite volume with water in the dyeing vessel. The material to be dyed is then introduced in bath, the temperature is raised and the necessary quantity of common salt or glauber’s salt crystals are added depending upon the depth of the shade required. The material is then rinsed well, after treated if necessary, rinsed again and finished in the normal manner.
