Similar to the Red Tatu, it is widely used in the confectionary industry. It has excellent flavor and appealing characteristics.<br><br>Variety: Tatu / Valencia<br>Color: Red<br>Harvested: January thru March and July thru August<br>Description: This variety has a wider application. It is widely produced in Brazil. Its flavor is extremely adequate for the confectionary and the snack industries.<br><br>Variety: Runner / Florunner<br>Color: Light Red<br>Harvested: March thru May<br>Description: This variety is highly used worldwide and mostly traded by the key world players in the peanut trade. It has a nice flavor and an agreeable appearance. It is used in a wide range of applications such as confectionary products, roasted and fried products, peanut oil, and others.<br><br>Variety: Runner Brazil / Florunner<br>Color: Light Red<br>Harvested: March thru May<br>Description: This variety was developed in Brazil by a governmental research organization. Being recently released into the commercial marketplace, its demand has increased intensively. Positive physical appeal similar to the traditional Runner traded worldwide, excellent flavor, and high oil content are all adequate for manufacturing of peanut oil, peanut paste and peanuter butter.
