EBARA manufactures submersible pumps and motors for deep wells, control panels and accessories for domestic, industrial, agricultural and water supplying use; for lowering the water table (aquiferous) for construction, mineral exploration and soil decontamination purpose; pressurization systems (booster), among other applications.

EBARA Brazil has been located in Bauru, in the heart of Sao Paulo state, since 1975, performing its activities mainly in the manufacture of submersible deep well pumps and motors. We are the subsidiary of EBARA CORPORATION, a Japanese company and a world leader in the manufacture of pumps and equipment related to fluid systems.

EBARA Brazil was the first industrial unit established outside Japan. We have the largest production line in this area, providing submersible pumps and motors from 4’’ to 12’’, with power outputs of up to 360 HP and flow rates of up to 480 m³/h. To be distinguished in our production is the explosion-proof submersible electric motor for sewage pumps, constructed according to the Factory Mutual Standard, which is exported to the USA.

Built with Japanese technology, EBARA submersible pumps and motors are recognized as of the highest quality and reliability. We are constantly upgrading our products in order to adjust them to the requirements of national and international markets. Due to its constant efforts, EBARA Brazil received on August 30, 1996 the LLOYD’S REGISTER QUALITY ASSURANCE certificate, according to the ABNT NBR 9002:1994 Standard, being the first EBARA plant outside Japan and the first in the submersible pump branch in Brazil to receive such certification. EBARA Brazil Quality Management System received the certification according to the ABNT NBR ISO 9001:2000 Standard in March 2003, also by LLOYD’S REGISTER QUALITY ASSURANCE.

The production, administration, commercial, engineering and technical assistance departments are all located at EBARA’s plant in Bauru, covering an area of 4,299 m², built inside a total area of 25,321 m². We also have an office in Recife to serve the Northern and Northeastern regions of Brazil and the Sao Paulo office to serve governmental departments and the international market.
