It is important to understand the dimensions, measured horsepower, dimensions, and agricultural PTO shaft components in order to choose the right PTO shaft for your farm equipment. While operation requires U-joints and yokes, safety chains and guards are important components in the PTO shaft to ensure your safety during operation.

Internal yoke: There are two on either side of the PTO shaft: implement and tractor. It is attached at the end of the drive.
Universal joint – two joints at both ends of the PTO shaft.
External yoke - one on each side of the PTO axis. It has a "Y" shape that connects to a U-shaped joint, as well as an opening for women.
Safety Chain - The chain ensures that the PTO shaft is attached to the equipment and the tractor.
Safety ShieldCones are placed at both ends.

Three different shafts of the PTO shaft. axis
The type of PTO axis you choose depends on the task you want to perform. If you are plowing, mowing, or chopping, you will need PTO axes that are suitable for each task. It also helps protect your machine from excessive stress, impact, or tension.

Non-shear PTO shaft
This design is suitable for devices that cannot afford a sudden stop. This is a yoke-to-yoke arrangement. This is a good option for large lawn mowers because the movement should be smooth because there will not be any moment of being blocked or stopped.

Safety pin PTO shaft
The end yoke is divided into two parts and secured in place using safety pins for operation. When stopped abruptly, the pin absorbs the impact to prevent damage to the drivetrain. It can be used with other equipment, such as chippers.

Sliding clutch power take-off shaft
The slipper clutch is designed to protect your tractor and attached equipment from damage due to internal slippage - this allows objects to move on impact. For example, when the seasons change, stones and rocks surface, and when they are hit, you need to absorb the impact so as not to cause damage to the gearbox.

PTO shaft length limit
Its power take-off (PTO) shaft is the component that powers your equipment. Therefore, it is crucial to know its features to ensure user safety.
