Description
Arbutin, also known as arbutin, arbutin, arbutin, arbutin or myricetin, because it was first derived from natural green plants, is a skin whitening active substance that integrates the concepts of "green", "safe" and "efficient". Arbutin is an ideal brightener for whitening cosmetics, and there are two optical isomers, namely α and ß, and the biologically active one is the ß isomer. At room temperature, it is a white and slightly yellowish powder, soluble in water, methanol, ethanol and propylene glycol, glycerin aqueous solution, no precipitate after dissolving, insoluble in chloroform, ether, petroleum ether, etc. It is added in many whitening skin care products.
