First, performance characteristics
PSA916 series silicone adhesive is a high-temperature pressure-sensitive adhesive with polysiloxane raw rubber and resin as the base material and then add additives to the toluene solution. It can be mixed with other methicone pressure-sensitive adhesives to obtain specific properties. It can be used over a wide temperature range and can bond a variety of low surface energy hard-to-bond materials such as silicones, fluoropolymers, polyolefins, etc.

Note: The proportion of glue dispensing, according to the original glue: diluent: BPO = 100: 65: 1.5-2.0 ratio, after 90 ° C * 2min to remove the solvent, 160 ° C * 6min curing; test conditions: temperature 25 ° C, humidity 55-65%, PET film thickness 38um, dry glue thickness in 22-25um.
3. Scope of application
As a pressure-sensitive adhesive, it can be coated on PET, aluminum foil and other substrates with traditional high-temperature tape coating equipment to make a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape with special properties, which has good high temperature resistance and chemical resistance, and can also be applied to the printing circuit board plating process masking, SMT process, FPC, PCB board, sandblasting, coating, high-temperature paint, gold plating or electroplating process to cover the protective parts, as well as electronics, electrical and other products insulation bandaging and fixing. 4. Construction instructions
●Due to the difference in factors such as substrate, coating equipment, curing cycle and required characteristics, the amount of curing agent (can be used peroxides such as BPO or DPP, recommended BPO) is 1.5 to 2.5% of the amount of glue. To ensure an optimal mix of curing agent and adhesive, first completely dissolve it in the solvent and then add it to the glue, stir and mix well. At the same time, before coating on the machine, it should be filtered with a filter of more than 180 mesh to prevent the mixing of paste or other impurity particles.
● The use of curing agents can speed up curing speed or allow curing at low temperatures, and can also improve the cohesion strength of the adhesive and improve its adhesion performance on the substrate. The mixed and formulated peroxide dispersion can only be used for one to two days because the peroxide loses its activity quickly in the solvent. Adequate dispersion of adhesives and peroxides during the mixing process is a necessary condition to ensure the consistency of the finished product.
●SH916 series adhesive can be directly coated with traditional tape coating equipment, before application can be further diluted with phase-soluble solvents such as toluene, xylene, the concentration of the working liquid is about 35%, the specific can be determined according to their respective equipment and experience. The coating of solvents must be well ventilated and comply with the solvent supplier's safety precautions and relevant regulations.
● In some applications, due to the insufficient binding of the adhesive to the backing material, it may be necessary to apply a layer of primer before applying the adhesive. The primer material must be cured before use, and the curing conditions depend on the performance of the equipment, the type of substrate and the formulation used.
●Surface vulcanization cycle: 80-90 °C * 2 min solvent removal to ensure that no solvent is present in the adhesive when entering the curing area vulcanization; 160-170 °C * 6 min, through thermal curing, its adhesion, cohesion strength and initial adhesion are further strengthened. However, the exact conditions required for complete vulcanization depend on the length, temperature and efficiency of the furnace, the type of curing agent and the type of substrate used, and tests must be carried out on the equipment to determine this condition.
● If the equipment and substrate allow higher curing temperatures, the curing time can be shortened. Compared to low temperature curing, increasing the curing temperature can achieve the cohesion strength of the adhesive in a shorter period of time.
5. Packaging, storage and transportation
Fill in a clean and dry 200kg iron drum and seal with a cap. Storage at room temperature (0 ~ 35 ° C), storage period of 6 months (overdue inspection qualified, still can be used) to prevent direct sunlight, according to flammable products storage.
