More and more users are relocating control components such as IO-Link masters or other field modules directly to the machine instead of housing them centrally in the control cabinet. With the classic power supply from the control cabinet, long cables and high currents often result in critical voltage drops. To counteract this problem, ifm offers a powerful power supply unit that can be mounted directly in the field. This eliminates the need for a central control cabinet for the power supply, as all components are supplied locally. This avoids voltage losses due to long distances and increases the efficiency and reliability of the system.
