In 1960, Metalúrgica Marcatto began its activities with the manufacture of aluminum seals for injectables, directed to the pharmaceutical industry. Fortinox, the new company produces stainless steel platters, trays and tesserae for hotels and restaurants. As of 1973, in addition to the variety of colors in the aluminum caps Fortinox began to produce specific products for the hospital market. Expanding its market action begins to produce the pifer proof lid for the Food, Beverage, Cosmetic industry. In 2004 with the merger of the two Marcatto companies with Fortinox, it was renamed Marcatto Fortinox Industrial Ltda.
