Description
We produce and commercialize Santa Cruz Quartzite through our best known and most explored property, theSanta Cruz Quartzite project, in the state of Pernambuco. The mineral claim of this property covers a large area of 1980 hectares.

The Santa Cruz Quartzite comprises the following four distinct color varieties: Pérola (white), Coral (pink), Cajú (multicolor), and Aurora (red).

Petrographic analyses demonstrate that the four distinct color types have essentially the same mineral composition, i.e. 80-88\% quartz and 10-20\% muscovite. The different colors are due to the varying amount of iron oxides (0-5\%).

The Santa Cruz quartzite is extracted from natural outcrops approximately 5 meters high. It is of Precambrian Age (1+ billion years ago) and was formed under high metamorphic pressure. It is highly laminated, fine grained, and occurs in four distinct colors (pearl white, pink, multi-color, and red). These color variations are extracted separately, in multiple quarries located within the OREX concession area.

The vast geological reserves of the Santa Cruz Crystal Quartzite assure practically unlimited high quality materials for our customers.
