Cocamide DEA has excellent wetting, cleaning, dispersing, hard water resistance, and antistatic properties.
It is particularly valued for its thickening, foaming, foam-stabilizing, and synergistic capabilities. When combined with other anionic surfactants (e.g., LAS), it significantly improves foaming, making the foam richer, more stable, and longer-lasting. It also enhances cleaning performance. In shampoos and hand cleansers, it helps stabilize foam and increase viscosity while reducing skin irritation. Additionally, it softens fibers, making it ideal for animal-based fibers such as hair and wool.
Applications:
Liquid detergents, liquid soaps, shampoos, dishwashing liquids, facial cleansers
As an emulsifier and stabilizer in creams, and widely used in shoe polishes, printing inks, and art supplies
As a detergent and thickener in textile printing and dyeing, suitable for polypropylene and synthetic fiber spinning
As a component in metal rust inhibitors and paint removers
Widely used in cosmetics and surfactant products as an emulsifier
Excellent foaming and foam-stabilizing agent in detergents
