Dr. Reinaldo Barros Geraldo is a Biomedical graduate of the Fluminense Federal University, qualified in clinical pathology from the same University, specialist in Aesthetic Biomedicine from the José do Rosário Vellano University, master's degree in NeuroImmunology from the Fluminense Federal University and phD in Biochemistry from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and biophysics from the Latin American Federation of Biophysics Societies. Its concern in the area of aesthetic biomedicine is to promote the improvement of the health and well-being of patients in order to integrate aesthetic procedures with the most current technical-scientific knowledge available in the market. Aesthetic Biomedicine is the area of Biomedicine focused on the development and application of treatments for body and facial aesthetic dysfunctions. It was approved by the Federal Council of Biomedicine (CFBM) according to resolution no. 197 of February 21, 2011. Aesthetic dysfunctions may result from congenital and/or acquired organic conditions, accidents, erroneous treatments or natural aging itself. The treatments are performed based on the identification of these conditions, following orientations related to psychoemotional factors, life habits and diets of each patient. Through a detailed anamnesis the Esteta Biomedical is able to develop a treatment protocol appropriate to the expectations, routine and safety of the patient. Founded in 2017 by the Doctor in Biochemistry Reinaldo Barros Geraldo, Biochronos operates in the aesthetics sector in two distinct areas: dermocosmetics and aesthetic treatments. ​ Biochronos Estética Avançada, located in Macaé, RJ, offers several aesthetic treatments in individualized care through exclusive treatment protocols appropriate to patient expectations, routine and safety. In order to improve the service was created Biochronos Dermocosméticos developed its own line of products for skin and hair.
