Carbono Química

The carbon chemistry is a leading distributor of chemicals and hydrocarbon solvents in the country headquarters in Sao Bernardo do Campo (SP), also has three other business units in a Ribeirão Preto (SP), one in Paranaguá (PR) and another in Vitória (ES). Through a modern logistics system and equipped, serves nearly three thousand registered customers.

The success story of Carbono Química began in 1965 when businessman Alfredo Miraglia founded Dipel. It is likely that he would not have imagined that there would be the seed of one of the most important groups of distributing oil products in Brazil and Latin America at the turn of the millennium. But surely he thought the future of the business surpass expectations.

While Dipel established itself with a major distributor of diesel oil, additives, fuel oils and lubricants dark, was born the Carbono Química. Purchased in 1978 by Miraglia and his daughter, Vera Gabriel, the company began to focus on the distribution of solvents for the paint industry and soon began to expand its portfolio.

Today, development and commercialization of new products, especially driers (metal octoate) for the paint industry, is also part of the performance of Carbono Química, both domestically and for export. Always with social and environmental responsibility in management, the company plans to launch one more unit focused on the production of alcohol-chemical and oleochemical derivatives, with respect to its growth strategy into new markets and consolidation in the distribution of solvents.

The accelerated growth in the market before the competition was a major factor for the success of Carbono Química. Also part of the group: Nitrocel specializing in nitrocellulose and Carbon Engineering which focuses on product development, the development of industrial projects for manufacturing chemicals and the improvement of production processes.
