The Brazilian unit of Coats was founded on June 18, 1907, in Ipiranga in Sao Paulo. Call today, by the oldest inhabitants of the neighborhood, "the factory of the English", the company became known as Power Lines to change its name to Coats Corrente in 1995, adapting to the world group logo.
