About Us

Founded in 1971 in Sete Lagos, Minas Gerais, SICAFE began operations with just a blast furnace to produce pig iron to meet domestic market demand.

Throughout this period the company has been developed and two blast furnaces were built to meet international demand. Today SICAFE has an installed capacity of 168,000 tons / year of pig iron lingotado and homogenized for foundries and steelworks. The group also owns a company SICAFE Afforestation / Reforestation and acts in the business of operating a factoring market development.
